La Salle University’s brave college journos: After being told that they couldn’t run an embarrassing story (involving a professor, a business seminar, and “strippers”) above the fold, the staff of the school’s newspaper — who already had to fight tooth-and-nail to run the story in the first place — decided to protest the university by running the entire front page below the fold, making the story even more noticeable as a result. “The truth is that we got there first,” the staff wrote in an editorial. “Our hands were tied, but that is a fact that the staff as a whole has come to accept, albeit begrudgingly.” These guys have balls. (via Charles Apple)

Bravo!

Fuck yes. That must have felt so damn wonderful to print. Never thought I’d applaud white space.
On a side note, this is probably one of the reasons people hate journalists. ^-^;;

Too cute!

So cute, this is too adorable. Someone recently told me that when I talk about this movie, all my intelligence vanishes (or something to that effect), but whatever, buddy. This movie was damn cute, the animation was beautiful (The hair! Oh my gosh, the hair!), and it made me laugh. And the villain song this time around, always one of my favorite parts of a Disney movie, it didn’t disappoint. Favorite Disney princess? Still Belle, but Rapunzel comes in at a close second.
And even if this gets me put in a corner for being stupid again, that’s fine! Because that corner is reserved for people who like Tangled! And you, you know who you are, are welcome to join me in that corner once you give it a chance. You’ll see the light. (Ha! I made a funny. A terrible one, but still!)

A disease that attacks his brain, heart, and testicles… I think Byron wrote about that.
